A journey to Madrid inspired this painting, now available as a poster. Since I take an intuitive approach to painting and try not to overthink the process, I'm sometimes surprised by the final product. Madrid for me is mostly about the Prado Museum and the time spent looking at the collection, specifically the Velaqazquez' and Goyas. Spending a lot of time looking at all those great paintings must have some kind of psychological effect. This painting reflects my state of mind after an intensive visit.
