This poster print is from the original acrylic on canvas painting 'Palermo' which was inspired by a visit to the Sicilian city. I was struck by the city's atmosphere and architecture, remnants of Sicily's history. The palette evokes the distinctly North African feel, with the rectangular pattern telling of the alleyways of the old town and the layers of architecture from past conquerors
